Newbie needs help from seniors

Hi forum, I am a newbie here and just getting interested in Metastock. I would not mind paying for it but would really like to try it first. Can somebody provide me link to download it and help with installation. I need live updates also. I can download thru torrent also.

Since you are a newbie, I have an advice for you... If you are looking for just the EOD data then you really need not to pay for it. There are free sites available for free decent EOD charting.

One of my favorite is icharts.in or even Google.com/finance

Next thing is if you need Intraday data or Live charts then again I would recommend you to try icharts premium service by paying as little as 350/- per month which is worth it and no need to buy AmiBroker or MetaStock... no configuration required and you can access it from anywhere... but you will miss all those AFL & advanced charting from icharts.

just go to any torrent site u will get it use the power of Google


and for live updates search Traderji there r few free software which give u 2 stocks live data (any two of your choice)

@ Vikas, Thanks Bro. I have been told Metastock gives excellent intraday buy/sell signals, especially for nifty. Does Ichart (premium service) provide that? I know it might sound a bit naive, but what is AFL?

AFL means Amibroker formula language. Since your are going to use Metastock afl is not required. Iam uning Metastock for the past five years it gives excellent result. Buy you need to buy plugin for metastock for buy and sell signals
