request for help

Hi all

I am using metastock pro ver 7, which comes free with viratech EOD data for the past couple of years.
Now, I want to purchase better ver of metastock but it is actually too much costly for me now
I have one cracked version of metastock 10, can I use it with viratech data or there can be any problem?
can anyone guide me on this

if you have metastock eod version then it will work with eod downloaded from getbhavcopy of mr kapadia. if it is online version then check connecting anything is tial nothing to loose everything to gain only

i did download metastock11 from rapidshare
no problems it works
now if you want to help me i need the metastock 7
coz it is compatible with advanceget..

I want to help. but the version with me is provided free by viratech and it requires authentication every 90 days. Further, they have provided me the CD to install it, and despite my best efforts I am not able to copy it on the other CD. I have talked about it with viratech people, asking them what if the CD provided by you becomes corrupt; and they replied that they will send me fresh CD in return of the old CD. So really sorry sir.
does the metastock 11 works with viratech data?

Cracked version will work.

But for EOD Version why to pay hefty amount? If u need realtime data then viratech is excellent. But for eod u can follow the suggestions of Mr Ganna. Otherwise if u dont have enough time to adjust split/bonus etc then can try albatross. They charge very minimal amount and their support is excellent. I am using it for many years.

right now I have already made payment for the current year; but will definitely follow ur advise which reduces the financial aspect of Data. Earlier, I was also using the free Data from NSE website by using a downloader which was also provided on this forum. Actually, long ago around 2002-03, I attended some short-term technical analysis course conducted by MCX; and there they suggested to get the data from some verified vendor like viratech.
