Help: Sector/Market Indices Folder: Metastock

Hi,
Need some guidance here pl.

1. I use Getbhavcopy for downloading BSE / NSE E-O-D data. This data is converted to Metastock format using Downloader. The data downloads in 2 folders [bse and nse] and is then converted and stored in the same named folders in the Metastock data folder, and then used for chart analysis. In this manner various sector / market indices are scattered over the BSE and NSE folders.

2. I used Downloader to create a new folder labelled 'Indices' within the Metastock NSE folder, and copied [thru Downloader] the relevant index security files from NSE or BSE folders. I assumed that when I update daily the NSE/BSE data, this indices folder would also get updated.

3. But this does not happen. All other securities get updated [even the individual indices in the BSE/NSE folders] but the Indices folder does not update.

What is being done wrong here? Pl advise, and thanks in advance.

sundeepgoyal , Check out the path and special charecters in the names, also, a metastock sysbol cannot have more than 10 charecters.
