Metastock Installation Help

I have just installed Metastock 10.1 pro now it is showing me two icon one is
Metastock Professional and another is Metastock Professional Offline Mode..but the problem is this when i click on Metastock Professional it checks for some equis data server and after it some error messege comes ant it wont start..plz tell me what to do in this regard it also asked me at the time of installation regarding real time data vendor i clicked on esignal now plz tell me do i need to install this again..

Did u Subscribe for MS?? Or is it a 'C' Version??? In the Latters case u need to place the 'c' in the installation folder of MS..Do that and see if it works..Yes..Some times it automatically gives an error and closes down..Try reinstalling it ..If its done succesfully u can then open the downloader and change the dat vendor settings. Then may be u can try ur luck importing data..Try it out and lemme know if i can help any furthur..

you use the offline mode.If u subscribe to realtime data then u can click that rt mode for realtime data.

No, Sir in offline mode it is working fine...but because im new to this metastock software and i do not know how to work with this software..When I am running it in offline mode it is working fine...

I just got a Metastock 10.1 "C" version. The Instructions for Installation states

1) " B4 installation of this software, please turn off Anti Virus software + Internet connection + Firewalls"

2) Please turn off All Anti Virus - Deep freeze while using this version of Metastock for trouble free working.

Can anyone please advise me if it is OK to follow the above procedure regarding turning off the Anti Virus while installing and also when using the Metastock daily throughout Market hours? What is the meaning of Anti Virus- Deep freeze?

Can my fellow members who are using this version of MS pls advise what their experience is regarding it's reliability compared to the Original? Also, once set up, has anyone had problems regarding loading RT & EOD data feed.

No! u dont need to reinstal. Delete Metastock professional icon. and work on Off line mode.For any further problem contact 09808480958
