Meta Stock - How to setup

Hi,

I am very new to metastock. I have been successful in converting EOD NSE DATA to meta stock readable file. But still I am confused in how to setup everything in the s/f.

Can anybody please help me in giving a step by step procedure how I can setup everything in meta stock and see charts etc.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Hi..i think u have already converted the downloaded data to the MS format...now,

1.open MS and go to open-> After u open it a box would pop up and ul find the names of various indices and the stocks.

2. double click on the name and the chart would open

3. now right click on the chrt for various operations( you would do this urself in a few days time)

Hey Thanks for the reply. The issue is I dont see any indian indicies now. i have converted the NSE BHAV copy to MS format thru the MS downloader (converter).

Now the question is what setup i need in MS to see the NSE chart?

Where have you stored the coverted data (CHECK at the time of using downloader whether you used the option of daily or intraday & last dates) say e drive,now use open & use 'Look In' & direct to that file in e drive then use 'file of types' option correctly.
