Default Next button usage in Chart tool bar

I am having periodicity of 5 mins in the existing chart. When I use next button, I get the chart of next stock in daily periodicity. How to maitain periodicty of 5 mins or what ever initially selected while using next button.

I was not clear in my statement. I was using the buttons with arrows for previous security, next security. If the current chart periodicity is 5 min, when I click next security, next security appears with daily periodicity.

OK that happens, you can overcome that by selecting 'Dafault Template' but again when you want to see daily then again change the periodicity, inherent problems of MS.

When you move to next/prev security,
With the 'Use smartchart', the next/prev security is displayed with the last used settings for this security including the Line Studies, Periodicity, Indicators, etc.,

With the 'Use chart as template', current chart's settings are used for the next/prev security (with the other options).

Both are useful in different circumstances. I thought atleast here MS works without its inherent problems!
