Default How to import text data files to metastock

OK!
I download a couple of text files which had (past)stock rates in it. and the place where i downloaded it from claimed that it is to be used for metastock.
The link for the site is
http://www.moosani.com/cgibin/metabe...browse&Jan2008

Now for the past 2 hours i have been trying to somehow put these files in metastock but I cant. Can you guyz please guide me how to do it.

I even tried Metaload but it gives an error that the record in line 2 is not valid(for every text file).

By the way this is of Karachi Stock Exchange(KSE)

Thanks in advance.

Dear Shareef ,..

Simply open The downloader ( which is there along with Metastock ).

Go to TOOLS>CONVERT ( it will convert securities from various formats to MS )

Next ,.. in Source - select file type as ASCII Text
Hit browse button ,.. in files say all files ( at the bottom ).
Select the Text file u downloaded.

Next in Destination ,.. file type Metastock and select the Metastock folder using browse.

Hit Ok.

And ur done.

Ask me if u need more help..
Regards..
Darsh
