Metastock Candlestick

#1
I have observed that some candles in Metastock Candlestick Price Format are filled while some are empty.
I can understand that green candle means open greater than close and red candle means the opposite. But what is the difference between green filled and green empty candles?
Someone please help!

** Please check the attached screenshot where this is observed.

Did you have an expert highlight on?
In metastock, filled candles = red candles and empty ones = green candles.
(Btw, I am unable to see the image. Could you please upload it once again?)

Hmm, I just noticed this myself, since I use bar charts.
The candle colour has nothing to do with price colour which is based on closing price alone,I guess.
The candle is empty when C > O and filled when O > C.
The colour is green when C > Ref(C,-1) and red when C < Ref(C,-1)
Tell me if my obeservation is right.

Hi Uashis,
I could not understand what did you mean by diabling default settings. How to do that and how will that clear out this confusion about red - green, filled - empty candles?

dear OXUS,
What you have said is absolutely correct. It is correct as per the chart I have attached. candle is filled if O>C and empty if C>O. Candle is green is close > Prev Close and Red if Close < Prev Close.

Thanksa lot dude!

Placing the cursor on the candle -> rt clik -> properties -> Up & Down -> same color (say black) -> OK
Your default settings of Up days & Dn days in context to earlier period will change.
