How Performance Testers & Indicators work ?

Dear Members

Hi again. I am working on last one year data on MetaStock Ver. 9. Charts are coming out well. However the Performance Testers (Binoculars) and Indicator testers ($) are not showing correct results. Each time I apply the testers, it gives only one result for all equities and all indicators when applied to one equity give exactly the same result . My common sense tells me some thing is wrong. But what ???

Can anyone help !!!!!

Having said that, you might want to look into the metastock user's manual to ensure that the conditions match exactly what you want.
Also try going through www.metastocktools.com for the indicator system tester (available for free) by Jose Silva. It's much better compared to the one offered by metastock.

Thank you very much for reply. Then what should i do to get good BUY & SELL signals. Which Indicators are time tested and best to use. I am interested in quality trades instead of quantity trades. But quantity must not tend to minimum it should be optimum.
