Santhosh, Super.... I like that :)

If someone communicates in regional language it caters needs of regional people only ( for ex: all replies in hindi, I didnt understand any :( ) and it also defeats the whole point of forum which enables different persons to communicate beyond languages and borders :annoyed:

Hi,
To put it in simple terms for everyone Hindi is "lingua franca" and most people are using it casually and occasionally to joke around or to put a point. Last time the matter got heated when I wrote national language.
Now second point there is no shame in trying to learn a language which is mostly used by Indians - logic it is Indian forum you are tracking Indian sentiment and majority are Indian, so why make it a taboo. Aim of the forum is to facilitate communications and English and Hindi are equally acceptable as they are used by majority and other language won't do or replace.
So what I see everywhere is that we all Indian are using English to discuss most things and use Hindi for casual comments, nobody writes geeks in Hindi as I inform u, if any discussion happens entirely in Hindi it is deemed a bit awkward by us(i mean native hindi speakers). So this is the reality, accept this and go with the flow.
And lastly why it is so hard to learn Hindi which is a win win situation for all, we use it only for ease of use, just look European people, they happily learn 3-4 languages and can communicate well in all, and they are not super geek or talented people, and we Indians are stuck with one language only.
Hope everyone can understand this in broader outlook.
And by the way many of my friends, kins who are studying in southern parts of India have good command on those regional languages like tamil/telegu they even recommend me to hear songs in these languages, so If we are doing it without any problem I don't see any problems why the same can't be done from the other side.
