Can Gold ETFs be redeemed for physical Gold?

Hi,

Gold ETF can never be redeemed for physical Gold.

If you look for getting into physical Gold, I would suggest pure Physical trading, or you can even trade in MCX and NCDEX and take delivery at the completion of a particular Trading Period.

No, you cannot do that. It's like with electronic e-currencies like Liberty Reserve, for example, that are based on the value of gold and can be outexchanged into cash but not into real gold.
