I don't know how direct they are related or if their is any simple equation which can establishesh clear relationship. here we can just try to put some of the facts which will help us to generalize some equatino between the three.

1.Gold as a pretious metal was the oldest form of calculating value of any trade or measuring amount of accumulated wealth. So Naturally, it became a known and accepted asset and one of the key criteria to calulate wealth of modern economic nations. And I am sure that their must be some equations RBI or World bank follows and it ultimately affects the currency values.

2. US being most influential and developed nation managed to do most of the trades in $. Naturally it became the Global currency adding more value and stability agaist other currencies. However other currencies are gaining against it slowly.

3. Crude Oil is major fossil fuel needed by nations to generate energy which is important for their growth. Gulf is major source of this valuable fossil and crude bussiness id done through $.. so it makes it difficult for developing nation who is looking for crude and keeps on struggling for the energy which makes its developement slow.

so in al its a circle and all three are related. Atleast i can say you the major conflict in todays world are happening on Crude,$ issues. I feel this has made developing nations strugle for energy and thus slowed down the progress.

Any one please simplify this complication .. as we just need some equation which can ease out or investment decisions.
