i had short sell nov zinc at 108.15 as i strongly believe that zinc will breach its all time low of 106.20. but at present its fluctuating very much on 8th nov it traded from 106.95 to 110.40 but closed at 109.20 and again today on 10th nov it closed at 108.60 after more fluctions upside down.
what you suggest should i exit at this point and reverse my position as u are sitting bullish on zinc OR should i hedge dec zinc at 110.25 to be on safer side.
also plz suggest any source for live charts or rates of lme zinc. like kitco for gold and silver.
my observation says zinc bearish upto 104.00 or even go more down further upto 100.00 if first TP achieved.
First of all, I am not at all bullish on zinc and neither I am bearish on it right now. It is trading between 113.50/114 on the upper side and 106.20/106.95 on the lower side. we have to see which direction it moves. As such, it is trading near its lowest price, one can expect more of support and trend reversal. But it will be only after seeing a proper move.

Trading Call for Nickel

Close on 11.10.2007 - 1265.30
Stop Loss - 1237
First Target - 1337
Second Target - 1339
Target is likely to be achieved in 7-8 working days.
My Dear Sudhir

Thanks a ton for this. Yes, I know that my call didn't worked well despite touching a high of 1306, it fall back. But as we all know, no body can be hundred percent sure of his calls. We can only try to be as accurate as we can. The way you have responded is greatly appreciated because it will only make me more serious while giving any free calls. I do respect and understand the value of money for each and every person. And please also note that I personally invest money on all my calls rather than just throwing away casually.

I submit my regrets for this and will try to provide more accurate calls.

PS-
Hundred percent accuracy is not possible. I am quite confident on my skills because unlike Nickel my silver calls has gone quite well despite some adverse comments.

Thanks again buddy.

Dear Ramarao
Yes, I will be providing short-term call on silver. The way it moved on 7th November has tied my hands. It was actually an unbelievable movement, at-least for me, when it approached 1000 points high but still closed near the opening price. I hope, within next week, there will be some signals which can be depicted in the form of technical break-out.

copper has good support at 273 and 268 and if it violates both the support, then the next support may be seen at 250 around.

zinc is consolidating at present at its support level. If it takes support over here, there will be a moderate bullish rally. As such, it fails to comply with the condition given in my previous mails, it may take 3-4 working days to decide. 106.20 is the support for current consolidation phase. just watch for 2-3 days and hope for the best.

Dear Amit

If you see the movement of zinc in November contract from 5 Nov 2007 onwards, you can see that volumes are not coming at all. zinc prices came down sharply between 16 October and 2nd November. This downfall has been accompanied by good volumes at every fall. Also, the open interest has also been decreased between 1st Nov to 8th Nov in zinc nov contract which denotes profit covering by short sellers.

I, personally, feel that zinc movement is deceiving and people are buying it for a bullish movement. There is a good increase in the open-interest on yesterday and the price moved down very significantly. Now, if volumes are not there, I feel reluctant to find any more bearish ness in zinc. Yes, had there been volumes during such down fall of prices, we can expect another bearish rally on the zinc.

Now, one can only watch and wait for the volumes to come in. It has already trading at its lowest prices, therefore, one should not enter short at this level until there is a downward movement with volumes. Two consequtive white candles and you can have a good bullish rally of zinc.

Being a heavy risk trade (1 rupee fluctuation is equal to 5000 rupees), it should only be traded with much patience and along with the movement.

I expect it to trade and close above 106.35 today. Let us see what come out..!

Copper appears to have taken good support between 268-273 and made somewhat hammer like candle stick. There is very likely hood of good bullish movement on today dated 13.11.2007. But please remember this is not a call for entering long on copper for a short term trade. One can try his luck for intraday only.
