I am giving below the mock trade results based on the first lot exit on break off reversal fractal (pivot) instead of 2R exit. Remaining rules are same as existing method. Example of exits is shown in this LINK

Mostly I would trade this method from next month series.:)

It has been almost three months since I started trading this method. It is time to review the results as percentagewise to understand it better. Janauary series I have traded for part of the series and made 800+ points. February series has made a tiny loss of -5 points and March series has made a loss of -55 points. Initially I have allotted a capital of Rs.1 lakh to trade. But the drawdowns in the backtest as well as March series has made me to increase it to Rs.1.5 lakh to have a cushion in case of dig in the capital. So, the results are as follows :-

January - +800* points and Return on Capital = +13.33%
February- -5 points and Return on Capital = -0.08%
March - -55 points and Return on Capital = -0.91%
(*method has made +1200 for the series. Return on Capital would have been 20%)

The method, so far, aggregated average monthly return of +4.11%. Annualised return is 49.32%.

As I said earlier, this new series i am trading using 1st lot exit on break of reverse fractal. Today banknifty experienced 2 whipsaw trades. For long trade, there was no reverse fractal created to exit 1st lot but for short trade there was a reverse fractal to exit 1st lot. The table below is extended so that a comparison can be made between fractal exit method and earlier method.:) Today onwards I am not attaching charts because the method is already clear cut.
