Today's earning : F&O - minus 125. Margin available 2097


Heck, I saw that -ve divergence but didn't believe it, got out twice with SL hit. Maybe I should've stopped at the first profitable trade of the day (had a clear 1 rupee in PE).

But then, these are the days of making money in the options. Should I stop at small profits or try to let them run and risk SL getting hit ??? Big dilemma. Let's see how the last 2 weeks of the expiry pan out.

Now, here's the negative divergence that I was talking about, while it was forming. How does one trade options with that ?? A 4-5 point move down executes your PE order of "buy above", then a 4-5 point pullback in the index can take a 5900PE back even 2 rupees, hitting your SL.

You do define a stoploss, because you have seen the price reverse even if the oscillator is in neutral zone.

After all the ding dong, it takes the direction.

That's the problem with being undercapitalized.

BTW, what's your trading capital? What kind of stoploss do you keep ? Do you buy 10 lots at a time or in parts ?

This is my third or fourth inning in share market and I am in deep loss, all owing to gambling and not having an approach similar to yours. But you are also another extreme as you have over the top fear of losing trades.

I will be making a serious attempt this time around to adopt trading for living. I have no system or method at present. No technical knowledge either.

Capital of 2 lakh and I buy 10 lots in one go. I try to end the trade same day itself. Stop loss is a dukhti rug.

Are you using a real-time feed for Nifty?

Are you using a real-time feed for Nifty?

I am using Sharekhan's TT for charting. So, yes, it is real time, for free (except Rs. 400 per year demat charges)
