Cool Digital contract notes-converter

Sir,

Now a days all the brokers are sending Digital contract notes. for a small investor it is very much difficult, cumbersome & time consuming, costly. So i want to know how we can download that digital contractnote PDF in to ms-excell sheet & then ms-excell sheet in to Tally accounting software. if somebody can help me to simplify this process ,that will be very much easy, cost competitive & userfreindly to do accounting in to Tally based software.or can any one suggest that of software that import digital contract note & do our a/cing work.

if everything will be done smothly then it will be the simpliest way to download the contract notes & do accounts in one click of a button .

So basically you would need a .pdf to .xls or .doc converter.

My broker, Geojit, fortunately sends the contract note as a .html file which can be cut-pasted into an Excel spreadsheet for calculation.

But if anyone knows of a converter, do post here .

Has anyone tried the "see it now" facility in Gmail. Here is a link to advice quoted below:

Quote:
1. Compose a new message in GMail. (If you are still without a GMail account, request a GMail Invitation code)

2. Attach any PDF or Word document that you want to convert to HTML You can attach multiple files in this step by clicking Attach another File.

3. Enter your own email address in the To: box and click send.

4. You instantly receive a message in your GMail Inbox folder. Open the message and click the "View as HTML" link next to your attachment.

5. The contents of your attachment appear as HTML in a new browser window without having to download the file. When you're finished reading the attached file, close the new browser window to return to Gmail or Save the file to your harddrive.
The rest of the advice is useful as well!

I don't know anything about Tally but just copy paste into Excel and then maybe export to Tally?
