ICCIDIRECT very slow site

I am fed up. Last two days I am observing icicidirect has become too slow. Sometimes the site totally fails giving "gateway failure" error. For intraday trading it the worst to trade. Once I was unable to square off the postion for 15 minutes. Yesterday was record breaking for sensex. but for icicidirect it was record breakdown. Can u pls suggest good, fast and reliable online broakerage site.

well icici is like that only. but then when reliability is also in your wishlist theres little you can do, as there is no alternative.

i have mailed them a couple of days back regarding this slow speed and for giving the user an exe based trading platform (like odin or pib). they replied back thanking for my "valuable feedback" and the issue which i have put forward has been brought into the notice of the concerning department.

maybe you should also sent them a mail. maybe a mass feedback can bring some senses to the buggers.

yes, a barage of e-mails protesting against the slow server speed might move these icicidirect morons to make amends to their disgusting attitude to their online clients. I think we should address our complaints to their top bosses instead of low level executives.

Sending complaint to them does not help. I had sent complaint for some other issue. but it seems they have put some software which understands our queries and sends answers automatically. So no HUMAN is reading our queires. so they cant understand our feeling. What could be more pathetic than this. Even one of my friend had phoned ans asked if they doing any improvement in the speed and interactively. They plainly said that they are goining to do any imrpovement in near future. One more problem in margin screen by default NSE is clicked. So first u think u need not click NSE. U select Margin and u click on OK. Message comes that u have to select exchange though NSE is selected by default. Once again if click NSE then Option in Cash/Margin becomes Cash. While buying on margin u r in such a hurry that u dont confirm and click on further. Once I had more money in the account and by mistake i placed cash buy instead of margin buy.
How icicidirect can not understand such a simple thaing. or they just want to earn more commision on cash transaction?

i have great difficulty with sqareoff link in the margin position page, 99 times out 100 sqare off page never appears and you are forced to enter a separate trade to sqare off.

icici=only for long term investments....thats what i feel!!!

looks like they are quite determined so that people are not able to trade through their platform.

i agree with you.ICICI is best for MF not for intraday....... (i didn't tried others like margins ).

for intraday, its always slow while makrket open/close.

i just closed a trade with a loss out of disgust because of slow server speed of icicidirect. it is better they wind this online trading platform

better save your money to open an a/c somewhere else. thats what i am doing
