Default Dividend Grievance / Query

Hello All,

What does one do if an announced dividend does not arrive? To be more specific, Siemens announced an interim dividend with the ex-date being Jan 3rd 2007, but I have not received this dividend.

Can anyone tell me whom to complain to?

Thanks a lot,

Sincerely,

Uday.

Hey Uday,
Generally the dividend comes directly to you using electronic payment, Check what bank account you have linked with your demat account and also check your bank statement. You may have received it directly from siemens.

If you have not linked your bank account with your demat, then It should come via a post, In which case there may be a possibility of theft. So you may have to check with siemens and ask them that whether your dividend check is cashed or not.

Hello neo of Matrix fame,

Thanks for your reply.

Uncannily enough, I received a cheque from Siemens the same day as my post on traderji.

Even though my bank account is linked to my demat, I still receive dividends through post, though some dividends are directly credited. Must look into this and get every dividend to come electronically.

Thanks once again for taking the time and sharing my concern.

Best Regards,

Uday.
