Please discuss about the Statutory charges/Taxes like SERVICE TAX,STT, STAMPDUTY,TRANSACTION CHARGES/TAX ETC. your broker is charging you against share transaction in Intraday,Delivery and derivative segment which is different for different brokers though it is expected to be same for every broker as thease are Statutory Levies of Central Government

But I have doubt whether Stampduty and Transaction Tax/Charges attaract Service tax Senior members please put a light on it as other renowned brokers like sharekhan do not charge Service Tax on Stampduty and Transaction charges. |
