Mutual Fund issues:

My investment in MFs arnd Rs;3500K. Across 6 Mfs.
1 SBI
2 HDFC
3 Sunderam
4 Reliance
5 Religare
6 UTI, Gov of India.

Differnt issues at all MFs. Platform not uniform. UTI MF: Recently from one of my folio Rs;151K redeemed. Amount transferred to a bank account not connected to my folio. Other folio details also modified. Mobile no, E-mail address, Bank details.

It has developed into a very interesting case over past 8 months. No clear & convincing reply by UTI 0r Karvy(agent)

   All units redeemed & amnt trnsfrrd to unlinked accnt not of the beneficiary in Oct,2013.

      Noticed in Nov. matter taken up with UTI/Karvy in Dec. No reply for 3 weeks. Referred to AMFI. Prompt reply. Thereafter UTI reversed the position. Units re-instated.

         Pursuing with UTI/Karvy the date on which units re-instated. Documents submitted for redemption, change in mobile no.,e-mail, Bank account details. In touch with high up at UTI, Mumbai.

            Till date no response. Across MFs the policy/practice is different. More to follow.
