from past one month i have been trying to explain kotak securities about my problem but never they paid attention to solve it. now i am here.

1) intraday trasaction appeared in my billing, for which i did not place any order.

my contract note shows correct trasaction entries on that day,but not billing

2) billing was reapeated with different trade date, actually those value were not reached on that day at nse at all.

every time customer care people talk and say we will look in to it and vanish no more replies from them.

please help me,whom should i approach and what should i do regarding this problem.

My broker is KOTAK SECURITIES.COM. Pl clarify a bit more with example. It's a grave matter what you have written and understood by me. I think SEBI is best place to approach.

This I am not sure of...but u can also include this point in the letter to sebi. I am sure they will ahve to maintain records of the prders u have placed on the phone but i am not sure.

This is a very strong point. If u are sure the values were not reached on NSe and they have billed it on NSE, u basically take a letter to them saying that this is the case and I am now moving to customer court and also writing to sebi. I am sure this will move them.

Do they give u a reference number for noting down your greviance. If yes then also u should mention that in your letter to Sebi and customer court. If not ask them to give u a reference number which normally customer care deot ppl do give.

please help me,whom should i approach and what should i do regarding this problem.[/QUOTE]

Now a days most of the reputed brokerage firms send you contract notes to your registered email id. The first thing a trader/investor should do is verify the trade on respective stock exchange viz NSE India or BSE india. Whether, the trade gets verified by the Exchange or not it is important that one takes out a print out of the Trade Verification detail. More so, when the trade is not verified and one is considering of approaching the firm for rectification. Also, one should regularly save the contract notes and take a hard copy and keep it filed.

Let me assure you all- day traders and investors alike that nothing has changed much. Simply because we now have internet and brokerage firms provide online trading platforms it does not mean that you or I will not get duped. As an eye-opener do get a copy of the book "Ten years in Wall Street" written in the 19th century perhaps by William Worthington Fowler. I am sure most of you, if not all, after reading the book will agree with me that 'not much has changed' when it comes to stock market in all these years despite all the hooplah contrary to it.
