Hi.
I have recently begun trading online and have been trading with Geojit. Sometime back, I had bought stocks (ITC & IVRCL) on BSE. However, after the payout, I found that they were listed on NSE and not on BSE. Infact, I am able to trade on them only on NSE now. On contacting the customer care at Geojit, I was informed that their trading terminal is such that all scrips purchased on BSE will be shown under NSE after settlement. They also mentioned that they are working on developing a system wherein scrips could be sold on either of the exchanges. Till then, I am forced to trade my purchased stocks on NSE.
I am concerned about whether this is a genuine glitch or do they have an ulterior motive in doing this? Would anyone have a clearer picture of what this is all about?
Thanks
