I too had done the training course of Ravi Bhoske in 2009 in his Dadar Venue. At that time, I was full-time employee and once in a blue moon trader.
What I vividly remember from him his training is
1) Contrary to what he had advertised, classroom was packed; Students could not move an inch without touching each other; Gratefully, the halll had AC
2) His preference (or advice) to students was to use line chart instead of candles
3) The patterns that he revealed in that were M and W patterns and he simile compared it with genders (Man and Woman).
A Valid M pattern appears as a Higher High followed by a Lower High. When the Low between two highs is broken going downside, it is sell breakout.
A Valid W pattern will appear at bottom with Lower Low followed by Higher Low.
4) Lot of what he said was way too much jargon
5) He called Futures and Options as den of gambling and to stay away from them
6) He advocated dollar cost averaging ... Keep buying as stock gets cheaper and cheaper.
7) In his ending-note, he told students (who had not subscribed to any of his additional paid service) that chances that hel'll meet them again is very small.
8) Best thing that he did was that he gave a CD with lot of TA books as PDFs plus few other freely available software such as Pivot Calculator. I did take pains to read through most of the books on the CD but it took me approximately 3.5 years to do that. Anyone who wants the CD can PM me and I can arrange to have the copy sent to him (at his/her expense)
