:) :) :) Thanks GG. Being blunt is not usually my character, as I am a libra after all. The scales are usually balanced to see both the sides of any argument most of the time. But this time, swung one way - but to the side of truth. Noted point however. Some learnings have to come only from personal experience.

Thanks :) But someone should drive home a point .I have met with loss thanks to friendly tipsters .But I could bear those losses and was a good learning too.But it hurts really to see others fall a pray .For their families may be dependent on them .
Wish there was some other way to make the population aware .Thanks for the genuine concern .Take care .Happy trading:)

It's a big YOU... I have seen well reputed full service brokers giving calls against trend, which eventually fails. Do what exactly your mind, body, soul says after doing your own fundamental & technical analysis. Nothing really hurts you mentally if you are wrong as the decision is solely yours. All the best.

I think it is the retail mentality that we constantly ask others for tips. I have noticed that when I tell someone that I am a trader, they immediately look at me and ask, "which stock is going to go up?"
I think people instinctively believe that other people who are in the market have deeper insight and have inside information on the market.
Why else would retail traders rely on tips given by brokers? 90% of the time, they are wrong (atleast my broker is). But still, people rely on their tips. It's like subconsciously they have accepted the fact that brokers have deeper knowledge and insight on the market and therefore can predict the trend in the market more accurately.
