Hey Guys,
Found this site only yesterday and must say it looks awesome.

About me.
Currently I do not have experience with the trading, so complete newbie. Finishing my MSc in Oil and Gas management, where I hade couple of modules on finance and trading. I must say, trading really took me.

As a part of my finale thesis I decided to take on the topic of day trading futures (wti). So the learning curve can begin.

I hope to learn a lot here and than to give a lot back if possible.

Thanks

Nothing special just seeing a lot of your posts have been at joinees section in TJ. Read your two long posts about options where you listed like 4+6 = 10 other option related threads.

Just looking back options a lot of learning. After all that one still should be able to manage his positions above the profit line or trap the mouse withing the cage.

2. Read your two long posts about options where you listed like 4+6 = 10 other option related threads.
1. Guess there is nothing bad with. Though it may will bring in a bit of "Pep" in this section. Should I stop it?

2. As you have seen the post's in that specific thread, you also recognized that he was asking me to give him a hand about option trading. So I made a few posts about it and thats it. The post's I have made have been on a level which surely was not to difficult as there is so much more behind options which you do know by your self. Still: If you have any better ideas or what so ever to show some thing about option trading to a newbie, kindly post it in that thread as he is interested in options.

Take care and enjoy your free day :)

Thanks you have a nice day too.

1. Thats good. I ll be honest as chatting with you have helped me too.
2. You have given a lot on options. Assimilating that much itself should take some time. At this point doesnt make sense to add anything.

May before you put your first order it makes sense to plan how to play it at different levels and then go week by week with your positions. Plan the margins, brokerage. What profit would be good for you. How much is at your disposal. Somewhere between so many other things that are there in options there is a lot of room for confusion.

The other intraday stuff is simpler isnt it just see the pattern and trade and just learn to see it. Though it may be tough to read it but all you have to do is train to read it. I have been a big failure in intraday in my 1 odd month I tried and I should be saying nothing about other methods but some people are doing it. Again it all depends on the individual and what are his preferences and capabilities. May be he should decide it first. Anyways nice to hear from you.
