Looking forward to some serious learning

Hi Guys,

I have been trading (not investing) off and on since my college days for about 3-4 years. Now with a small capital of my own savings, I am looking to get into some serious day trading, basically in the stocks (I find Options and Futures too intimidating right now).

Looking forward to gaining some good advise here on the finer points of day trading.

and oh! I have an online account with Zerodha, but seeing overseas trading platforms, I feel Indian traders are basically being taken for a ride with a lack of features on the trading platforms here in India, most importantly since each broker prefers his/her software and locks out the commercially available platforms.

Hi Tanya,
All the very best for your day trading endeavor...But to be a good day trader you have to learn Technical analysis and position sizing...There are many threads in this forum to learn TA...As i am a point and figure chartist i can recommend Point and figure charts as a tool for day trading....apart from the TA ...it's the position sizing that keeps you in the game. Learn TA.Device a strategy.. Start mock trading in NSEpatasala..If you are convinced with the strategy go live..Day trading is difficult as time constraint is there .Please go through The complete guide to day trading by Markus Heitkoetter ...
