Could someone here please explain after I buy the stock and if the price as increased, how should I sell it for profit.
Please tell me should I have to deal with the broker or can I sell it online.

I want to know how to sell my stocks.Waiting for your valuable response.

You can do all the transactions online. Selling is the same way you do buying. There must be buy and sell options in the terminal. Look for ICICI demat manual for basic operation. With that being said, let me also add that trading is very risky if you do not know when to buy and when to sell. One must learn to analyse stock before attempting to buy or sell. There are various threads here on basics. Do go through them. All the best.

Thanks manishchan for your reply.
What I understand is that I can sell my stocks using DEMAT account. I will study further and if any clarifications will ask here.

(This is what I found in their website.
1. Can I buy and sell shares through ICICI Bank Demat?
Ans. No, shares can be bought and sold only through a stockbroker. ICICI Bank Demat helps in delivering the shares against a sell transaction or receiving the shares for a buy transaction. You can open an account with icicidirect.com to avail of seamless trading and settlement.)

Does the above paragraph means I need a stockbroker to do the selling?

Can someone guide me which company/brokers are trust worthy or reasonable brokerage cost.
what type of role do they play ?
Thanks
Pooja

Ok.. I thought you had 3 in 1 acc with ICICI because as far as I know that is what they provide.

3 in 1 means : Have savings account (where you keep your money, Demat acc (this is where your shares will reflect when you buy/sell/hold), and Trading account (through which you buy or sell.

So I assume that when you opened Demat you would have also got access to the trading account too. I suggest you give them a call and find out about this.

Further, if you have demat with icici, it is not necessary to trade with them. You can open trading account with any other broker and link your demat. There are hundreds of broker available. You can refer to this page of TJ which has numbers of thread on the brokers/reviews/charges etc. http://www.traderji.com/brokers-trading-platforms/

Thanks Manishchan.
I had this Demat account from many years and it was only Savings and DEMAT. There was no trading added.
So I called them to add trading account.
Appreciate your help in guiding.
