first step towards intra day

I have never done intra day trading before and quiet new to it.
Wud like to know as a beginner how much amt should I invest during initial days for intraday trading.

As u told, u have never done day trading..have u ever done swing or positional trading before?
r u consistently profitable in it? If u r then u can enter into world of day trading..
First do u have some startaegy for intraday? have u backtested it? has it a edge ?is it continously profitable? ..if all answer is yes..then please paper trade this strategy first..if it consistantly profitable for at least 3 monthes..then u can enter into live market with small capital...
Now ur next que is home much amount..?its depends on the what instrument u want to trade...? what is ur risk profile & whats ur target...
I can tell u the min reuuriement for day trading...in cash ..u can start with as small as 1 share also..
In future ...for nifty ..u need approx 12500 fro 1 lot( can change acco to nifty value & broker's margin requirement)...for future of stocks its different for different scrips & brokers..u can ask from ur broker....
in option day trading..u can get any near ATM option 1 lot for nifty as low as 5000-8000 approx..
