I do not wish to quit trading, but intend to rebuild with my left over capital of Rs 5000 /- . Advices and guidance on this are gratefully welcome.

Mohan, quit and work hard at your day job.

Concentrate on getting to the root cause of your losses.

Read, paper trade and follow it up with a small infusion of capital.

Almost a guarantee that you will blow it up again. Repeat the above again and slowly you will find yourself able to trade properly an make the money which you have paid for the lessons in trading.

I don't mean to discourage you, almost everyone who has ever traded(not invested) has had to do this and learn, live and get back on the horse.

If you don't think the above is something you can handle, quit. Trading is hard-work, else hit a casino.

1. first get yourself a good intraday system which doesnt repaint the trade. the trade once appeared should remain and not disappear.
2. have a fixed stoploss and once in profit, then chase the price at a small distance with your stoploss.
3. follow the above two rules without prejudice.
4. then paper trade for a week, convince yourself that this is real trade while doing so.
5. keep a log of paper trades.
6. if 4 days in paper trades out of 5 are in profit, then start real trading with very small capital, build on it then start increasing your position sizes.

I suggest to do paper trading only for a week because, real trading is totally different from paper trading

dont try to recover your capital, in the process u will lose more........first stabilize ie dont lose more , then slowly u can build up.
I lost 20k in first month then trying to recover that lost 30k in next month then ...and then......total now in few lakhs red......so it all starts with few xx K in red.......:D

rebuild from 5K !!!!!!!!! :)
First find a good method which suits you ..then learn it properly..back test and papertrade it in live....get confidence in method...use MM and rules properly...trading is not learn in one day...so be patience :)

Whenever you take any position try to understand the rationale behind that trade.Ask few questions as why you are taking this position and what are all the technical analysis you have conducted before taking this trade? If you are taking a trade just because some broker/frd recommended you then you are on wrong boat and might not go long in trading.Hence,do your homework correctly and get your basis fundamentals clear followed by extensive study in trading patterns/methodology etc.Dont have any expectation of earning hefty money via shortcut routes.

Nothing surprise, at least you have left out with Rs.5000/-. Intraday without knowing the subject if you trade, through out your life you can't win. Lost is Lost, learn and enter. You learned a lesson at the cost of Rs.45000/-, no harm.

Don't try to take revenge on market to recover your Rs.45000, you will loose further ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Please Learn.

Be Happy
