I am srihari, a mechanical engineer from bangalore. I am most interested in stock market as I think the knowledge and analysis techniques can be made use till my grave day. This knowledge makes me confident of my earning potential irrespective of the job, I feel like a entrepreneur. And more so, every day will be exciting till and lots of stuff to read, which keeps me occupied
Though I have been following the market since 2006, my trading experience spans about 1.5-2 yrs, . One reason is lack of courage to invest and more so I did not have much money to experiment.
My interest is mostly into Options and Intraday(lack of huge sum of money). At start my experience with intraday was good, but later I started loosing money because I based my decisions from the tip-givers, and never used to do any market research. After loosing close to 1 lac, I started taking my trading decisions by focusing only on some 3-5 stocks, look for the news, wait for the results, still feel that returns in intraday is not worth amount of tension and effort. Recently have shifted my focus on Options, which I felt was less risky and same some 12k is my first transaction.
Mostly I refer to dallal street website, which I feel in close to reality and unbaised. Even I discovered this forum from the chit chat section of dallal street. My take away from this website will be to learn from the gurus the "art of trade" and post my queries so that I get the answers which can be trusted.
