I'm always learning

1) Your trading/investing experience.

2) The number of years you have been investing or trading in the markets.

3) Your area of interest - IPO's/secondary market/futures/options/commodities, etc.

4) How do you make your trading decisions.

5) How you discovered this forum.

6) ETC, etc.

I'm an old pit trader from the CME and trader only the S&P. I have been trading on the screen since 03 and full time since 10.
I only trade commodity futures and am interested in learning Butterfy future spreads.
My trading plan is based on modified fibs based on time
Google told me about this place.

Hi Triggerd signals

I also welcome you to the forum. There are not many CME traders here in this forum, so nice to count one more to the few once. :)

Pit trading and screen trading are two worlds. Would be nice to hear live from a veteran how he felt when he did that step from pit to the screen, as most members here do not have any idea about that.

Butterfly future spreads. Interesting subject. :clapping:

Long one July 2013 S&P500
Short two Dec 2013 S&P500
Long one July 2014 S&P500

Margin at the CME for such hedges are much less compare to the NSE, as the CME takes in account the hedged legs and NSE does not. Dear ST or some other members may would be so kind to explain that to you.

I would recommend you to open a thread about your subject.

See you around and good trading / DanPickUp
