since you have no idea how to trade commodities. I suggest you do not trade commodities.

trade stocks and learn first.

To trade commodities, you need a minimum of 3L account. Anything less than that and i guarantee you , you will lose all your money.

I m not new to Commodities, I m only new to stocks, More than 7 yrs i m into this trading,

Today i was bit bearish with crude, but one of my colleague ask me to close the position, thatsy I asked for the Today calls on crude

Now i booked my profit at 4987 Short at 5004.

there is no guarantee no where neither commodities nor stock or currency. You have chosen right counter and best counter for intraday. In stocks market scrips are more manipulated then commodity(mcx metals, bullion, crude).
But the fellow is right you have to learn. And atleast if you keep rs 2-3 lakhs then it would be better but it is applicable for all markets though you can trade at less amount. Crude on daily basis you can get 10-20 points atleast if you know trading can earn rs 1000-2000 daily with 1 lot. If wanted to start small capital then also rs 50000 required but trade in 1lot and keep sl always maximum 10 points else some times move are ver fast 50-100 points and you get feared and loose more money. trading criteria is same for all markets.So first learn it how to handle it do some paper trading and when confident then enter. I have traded stocks, stock futures, currency,even options (might some knowledge lack option), commodity. Traded every thing out with net profit but found commodity is best and in that crude is best for Intraday.So dont get misguided.:thumb:
