Hi everybody!
I have been in the stock market for about 3 years. I have been learning since then. I have tried my luck as well as acquired skills(ha..ha..ha ..atleast I used to think like that) in long-term, intermediate term and daytrading without much success. Though I have been occasionally rewarded yet I feel that there is some cartel-operation behind-the-scenes which initiates trends, peak them and then finally burst them( the latest being, as far as I think, in the MIDCAP stocks). May the Almighty save the markets from the clutches of these behind-the-scenes-operators which might include some PMS's/MF's/Hedge funds etc. These damned entities are most of the times intentionally or unintentionally responsible for the herd mentality and till the time small investor decides to enter the market, he is left with the passed buck and starts waiting for next uptrend for his entry price to reach. I hope this site will help investors like me to invest with confidence. I |

intraday trading is about taking advantage of rising prices and falling prices.
it is a place for making some quick gains as well losing quickly. you have the facility to trade without full investment. you have the facility of getting in and getting out as you wish. you have stop loss facility to protect yourself. nifty itself has catagorised the mid caps adequately warned about such activities. then why regrets. internet has made gathering info. very easy. both the exchanges are allowing access to the companies data bases freely. definitely you can avoid the pitfalls with your 3 years exposure.

Hi Ordinary JK,
Till you become selfconfident cut your teeth on the recommedations of senior boarders. Nevertheless, people can only advise and the decisions must be yours and hence the responsibility also must be yours. Best thing would be to learn swimming before jumping in to a stream. So why not paper trade on the recos of seniors and observe how successful their recos are and shortlist them and follow them with very small investments. I am sorry for you because, even penny stocks are going up in this bull run and you could not make any money. Your reaction is very classic. Do not blame the markets or any one else.Do introspection of on what basis you invested ( tips ? hunch ? so called gut feeling ? etc., ) or based on fundamentals or technicals ? If you do that you will learn from the mistakes and will become a better investor. There is no other way to succeed in this venture. Sorry for the sermon: I am not the right person or experienced to give you a sermon. I my self am in your position in the sense that I am also new to stocks but am making some money. I wish you make money in the remaining bull phase. |
