I'm a long time lurker on this site, and thought it's high time for me to introduce myself.
I have been planning to get in to Day Trading for a long time and am trying to get some good info before taking the plunge (first paper trading then the real thing)!
Would greatly appreciate if someone can help on following or point me in the right direction of existing threads:
1. Suggestion of 5-6 stocks which are good for day trading
2. Cost effective charting software (I have downloaded free version of Ninja Trader, but yet to try it out) that works for Indian market. Do these s/w show range bars also?
3. Is there any source of free real time Indian markets data available? Someone told me Yahoo / Google finance can work, but I can't figure out how.
