Hi to all Gurus,
I am from Mumbai & has started trading just 2 months back in a view to become full time trader. After loosing around 30 odd thousand I was seaching the reasons of my failuer. While surfing i came accross many Tips, guidance which i feel i should have gone before entering the market. while surfing for T.A. i was getting answers for my every query on Traderji forum. While getting deep in to the articals posted i was highly impresss about the experience of the members & their intention of sharing their experience with others & so I decided to join the forum. But being new to market i am unable to share anything except few question like... What is the meaning of trading strategy ????? I came accross this term thousand time that you should have well designed trading strategy & u should believe & consisitenet in ur strategy & bla bla bla ... but nobody is telling what is "Trading Strategy" & how it is designed ???? Can anybody guide me ???? Is their any better course for T A in mumbai ( about BSE course I heard that they are very casual in their approach towards teaching) If somebody provides even link on this issue that will also be enough for me.. Thanks to all members for their valuable sharing... Thanks in advance Prasad |

First of all,a very warm welcome to you...........okay,now to Trading Strategy, what is this thing?Nothing but the very obvious.......like in battle,we need a strategy before going into battle. As in all battles,we need a game plan as well..........at what point do we enter? At what point do we say that it's time to give up on this trade? At what point do we take our profits? When we buy,how many shares? How do we determine that?If we sustain losses, how many max do we take in a day if you play intradays?.........so on so forth. The answers to the above question is your Trading Plan, your Trading Strategy.........and once you have this drawn up,you then attack the mkts again and again. There are lots of threads here that teach on a great amount of things..........here would be a great place for a start. Looking fwd to your posts, and question those willing to help, bombard them with your doubts..........they may take some time over it as they have their own personal commitments, but will only be too willing to help. All the best! Saint |
