Is it right time to invest in Mutual funds or stocks

HI All ,

I am an NRI in the UK . Keen on investing in the indian stock market but not sure if its the right time to make my SIP investment in mutual fund considering the sensex is at 17.5 level .

Also confused which mutual fund to invest in to make a beginning if at all now is the right time , considering my horizon is 5 years. Was looking at franklin India blue chip , icici pru focussed equity , DSP BR Top 100 . Please suggest and advise.

I would suggest to wait for a while, as market is on higher side. Once there is some correction, you can think of investing it.
Else you can start SIP with smaller amount and once there is correction, go for higher units then.


Also I would suggest to go for HDFC Top 200.
