Hi All And Need Suggestion

Hi All ,

I am in a delema for my career i am writting about me please help me what should i do now ....

My self a Software professional and passed in th year 2003 ....

Then did a Job in a private company for 2 years and due to my quest for business i quit it on 2005 ....

Then around 2006 started broking farm of ICICIdirect and running still now
initially it was good and ok .... but eventually we lost huge amount trading won account and also lost many big clients

Now want to return to Software field and settle doing job ....

then i contacted my frined overseas as well as here ....

Some Said it is impossible to get into the software field as a fresher or even doing some courses .... but some gave possitive feed back like below

1- One of my friend Said i can use my finacial domain knoledge to get a job ..he suggested to do some finace related course like Oracle Apps. functional/finacial course or SAP finacial Course then Apply for Jobs in Software companies ....

So can i show in my resume that i was doing business for last 6 years and did this course etc in the interview

2-One other friend Suggest me to become a Business Analyst by applying into software companies

Do not know which will be better and wheather at all i can get a job etc

I know there are lots of senior software people here plase give a guidance

Diff.. possibilities I could think of

1. If you have good development knowledge ...U can either get a job
   
2. If you have good development knowledge & if your friends from oversea can get small business contract for you ...U can try doing develop work for such small clients
4. The current industry has lot of scope for mobility dev. work.(Android/iOS)
   
5. Few companies offer consultant kind of work if you are good and have good friend circle who can recommend.
   
6. You can think of development work yourself if you have time to invest and idea which of your own ....One good option is if you can develop application on Mac ...You can upload on istore(Some license is req. not sure) and you could get paid for the app.It can be simple app. but good application which people should be ready to pay .
   
7. If you were working as Dev. and don't want dev. work/job then can try automation work with a company.

Plenty of jobs in Bangalore in almost all domains. Since you have background on finance. apply in banks,software services company.

But i assure you, the services industry is big pile of sh*t , if you are good at cleaning the sh*t , apply in software services.

Why did you quit trading? Things went bad because of the crisis, now things are again picking up very slowly..

I don't know your exact skill set, but there is just about any job you can get in bangalore, since you have experience..

Big & small companies are always look to clean up sh*t..

sorry i couldn't sugar coat the reality any better..

No i am not good at developing ,.... so thinking of finace related post in software companies ......

I dont know the exact skill set required for this ...... can you please guide what can i do with my current profile in software companies ? or should i get something more through some certification

Two of my frieds suggested below posts to apply

1- Business analyst in software companies ..... But i dont know the exact skill set required for this even dont know is it feasible to get in with my current experience or have to take some certification course ets


2- Another one suggetsted that every project need some people who are from software back ground and shold know the finance also and he told me to do some finace course in Oracle Apps Or SAP ..... but i dont kno exactly what to do please guide here also .... agin can i wrie capital market as my experience in my resume ?

1- Passed out From Masters in computer Sc in 2003

2-did a small job where we were writting codes on C language though forgot everything now

3- From 2006 to till now doing business as a Sub-broker of ICICIdirect in my native state ..... and i am Good a Technical analysis etc


Please guide what should i do get into software companies

Difficult to find a job but try in Banglore
