I am new to this site.I have over 10 year's work experience in Sales & Back office.Was working in Dubai last time for a bank in the back operations (Nothing to do with the stock market filed ).Due to recession got laid off & came back to Mumbai.I have been in the stock market for the past 7 months working for a proprietary firm as a dealer.I left after working 7 months for him as the boss was not paying salary in time & recently reduced the salary to 50% ....
I just passed the NCFM Derivatives dealers exam.So I have been looking for a job as a dealer or a suitable position in the back office / operations.
My question is how I can be a sub - broker or a business partner or a remisier ?
Are they the same thing ? I don't want to keep on doing jobs for life time & want to be independent in future.
My colleagues in my last firm told me about the remisier option where I don't have to pay any money & just refer clients.Another colleague of mine (he has been working as a dealer for 6 years) who also left the company to join Angel as a remisier.He told me that as I know lots of HNI clients in Dubai, I should partner with him, refer clients & I can also start making money.
An Asst. VP - (Private Client Group) of an international brokerage firm also was asking me if I can join his firm as I know many NRI people in Dubai, Bahrain & Muscat.But that was more than 1 month ago & he has told me to wait for the interview call.
My point is I want to know everything abt the remisier, sub - broker and Business partner options ..Its pros & cons, etc....I have read lots about Business partner , Business asscoiates, remisier plans in the websites of Angel Broking, Motilal Oswal, etc.But I know that I should beware of all this marketing gimmicks... All that shines is not gold .u know ...
So guys please need your advice, opinions on it....
