Hi
hi all,
I am a software engineer working at St Croix Systems in hyderabad.i have recently shifted from gujarat to Andhra pradesh. I am interested in stocks but have no prior knowledge. I am ready to invest but with lack of experienc in stocks i am little cautious. I have joined to gain some knowledge and invest. Hope u guys will help me.  Nahid

Welcome Nahid. Caution is the right attitude to have regardless of whether you are new to the markets or an old timer. Read around here and you will find a wealth of information, most of your questions will be answered.

Hi Nahid,
Welcome to this forum, which is no less than a bible for people wanting to know more about investing/ trading in the stock market. Before you start, I guess you will have to make up your mind whether you want to invest in the market for short/ intermediate/ long term. Your strategies (and therefore your search for information) would depend on this. To add to what Vince has said, if you still have any questions unanswered or if you are in any doubt, just pose your question on this forum (in the relevant section) and there are a lot of experience but humble people who will provide answers/ clarifications.
