Greetings from a Stock Dealer

#1
Namaste/Hello, to all from an equity/F&O dealer working at a leading brokerage firm from Bangalore. I'm just overwhelmed by the quality of discussions & dissemination of knowledge undertaken here. Looking forward to enrich myself with the invaluable inputs from the esteemed members to help my clients make the right investment decisions.

1) Trading/investing experience - 10 years(started with IPO investing)

2) The number of years you have been investing or trading in the markets. - After the initial IPO investments took a long break to take of my parents, meagre investments spread over a long time with huge breaks in between but always believed in long term value investing.

3) Your area of interest - IPO's/secondary market/options - no commodities or Futures

4) How do you make your trading decisions - For myself no trading decisions(again financial constraints), but believe in investing for long term in companies with good fundamentals, corporate governance, ethical practices, potential for growth & attractive valuations.

5) How you discovered this forum - Google of course!

6) Hoping to have a great time here.:)

I think nobody here is interested to help your clients just for free as you or your company will take all the profit in your own pocket.

Or can you make any offer from which we all have any profit and not only you or your company?

Mr DanPickUp I think you misunderstood my words, First of all i never asked for any free advice from anybody here and don't expect anybody to do so.

I' m just a newbie stock dealer working for the past 1 year on a fixed salary & working hours, whereas my company tries to make profit from the brokerage & other fees earned. So as you know since i belong to the lowest rungs of the organization just above the watchman & the office boy, there is no question of myself being in a position to offer anything on behalf of my company.

But I 'm willing to share whatever knowledge i have about the share market and stock exchange to the extent which doesn't compromise my relations with my employer and its clients & constituents just like any member here.

I believe in healthy exchange of ideas which benefit both the communicators and that knowledge is a priceless thing which grows by spreading.

Many of the clients(almost 80%) who interact with me are just beginners & novices in the stock market and what's wrong in guiding them in the right direction?

Coming to making profits for my own pocket by trading( I have already told that I'm on a lowly fixed salary) am i doing a sin or what? Aren't most of the members here, trying to make some profits from the stock markets? Isn't it?

Hope this clears all your fears & apprehensions about me.
