Hi All,

I have decided to start trading in the stock market in 1 month from now. I want to know who is the best broker in the market.

I have 3 options

1. Axis direct
2. Religare
3. Sharekhan

I want to know who are better in terms of brokerage charges and buy/sell charges, intraday offerings etc. Please guide me in this regard and help me to open an account first.

thank you.

In this forum itself, check the threads for "zerodha" and "RKSV". 2 different brokers, 2 different models, one might fit better than the other depending on your needs.

If you see the threads on these 2 brokers, responses from 10s if not 100s of people will help you understand the process, the benefits and the issues. Don't go to people providing phone numbers ... they are likely sub-brokers.

ok.. thank you bro. I guess i will call Zerodha directly tomorrow. But, see i am a beginner and i am a little scared to enter without knowing all the terminology and everything.. I am an MBA and i have a little overview about all these, but in the reality that will not be enough right.. so i am just a little anxious.

Research before you talk. "Talk" people will give you sales talk, know the issues first and then talk will be a better plan.
ya sure..

i ve looked for any books in this forum itself.. but i cant decide which is a good book for beginner to understand all the terminology and all those basic concepts.. can u suggest one ?
