Introducing myself

#1
Hi everyone,
I am in Australia and interested in trading stocks around the world... I am currenlty looking for a good technical newsletter that services the american and indian market.

I am a former stockbroker of 5 years and cashed out in the first few months of the GFC occuring. I decided it was going to be tough going to support clients through what was to become a very challenging period in worldwide markets for years to come..

I have several brokers which I use in Australia who pass on undervalued and freshly rumoured stock information and technical analysis for australian small to mid caps.

I am not interested in options and unless doing covered calls which I am not in a position to do anyways. I believe option and warrants trading just enables profiteering by market makers of large investment banks.

I would like to learn more about foreign exchange but there is a lot of noise out there in terms of tips offs and I would like to master my TA skills before doing so.

My style is based on swing trading and breakouts, filling gaps etc etc. All just plain jane stuff really. Like to trade on weekly basis ... not confident enough to day trade yet. Done many workshops but what i really want is advice on how to set up parameters to meet my needs in a software package - which is affordable, which can stock screen for me to say time trawling through these forums.
