Stumbled upon this forum few months back, I wish I'd discovered this earlier. Must admit this is a very comprehensive forum, it will take me some time to read the important threads.
Wanted to dabble with stocks since quite a while now. Opened an account with Zerodha because of its low brokerage. Quite pleasant experience with them. Nowonline is also a pretty decent website to execute the trades.
Well I'm only two trades old!
Bought GOLDBEES 10 @ 2580 and INFOSYS 10 @ 2350. Am slowly building the capital to invest in stocks for a long term basis. Basically looking at putting around Rs 50,000 on an annual basis in stocks.
Am reading about stock market & investing basics on websites like Investopedia. Read the book "The Neatest Little Guide to Stock Market Investing" by Jason Kelly. Started reading "The Intelligent Investor", I guess it will take me some time to finish it.
I think right now I do understand something about fundamental analysis. Did attempt to read something about technical analysis but its going over my head!
