I had my first brush with markets in 1999. It's just before the Dot Com Bubble. Post the bubble, i was left with 23% of my capital. I was shocked to find myself in this mess. Since then i never traded in the markets. Ocassionally i would invest in IPOs, otherwise it is only MFs. Then in 2003, it all started again. I would take delivery of shares and keep it for 02-04 months. All decisions were taken on fundamental news. I cud recover atleast 55% of lost capital. And in 2006-09 i cud make more than 170 %.
I played around with trading systems also. But burnt my fingers and saved my hand. I am interested in FnO segment, developing trading plans, designing trading systems in metastock. Also WII-gaming, books on trading, hollywood movies, hindi no-masala movies.
I make my trading decisions on technicals. For this i use metastock. Now i want to stick to Nifty and Bank Nifty on FnO segment.
