I would like to know about investment in mutual funds as an investor.

For a person , where , and in how many funds one should invest to get a good return?

If a person one to invest lump sum amount of one to two lakhs of amount where to invest in which fund?

How to select the fund class and fund scheme an Asset management company?

Better to avoid lump sum investment, advisable always to go for a SIP.

Check out valueresearchonline's website. They have a ranking of funds. Choose among the 4 and 5 star funds.

You can invest in 2-3 funds. Diversify the investment by putting it in different categories like Hybrid equity-oriented, Large cap, Mid cap, etc.
