Which Term Insurance is good?

#1
I am 31 years old and married. I am having a daughter of 2 years. I am working as a software professional in Mumbai with a salary of Rs.40000 per month & I am the only earning member in the family. My monthly expense is around Rs.12,000 per month.
I have also taken a home loan of Rs.18 Lakhs from bank to purchase a house in Mumbai.
My monthly EMI comes to around Rs.17500.
I am looking to buy a Term Insurance of tenure 30 to 35 years for 40 to 50 Lakhs from any good company. What are the riders available on the Term insurance? Which company is good for buying a Term Insurance?
Is it good to buy a term plan with rider?
Can you please suggest me the best Term plan?

hi naren,
first of all i admire your decision to take a pure term insurance policy. this is really a great idea not to go for any existing insurance + investment policy. mixing of insurance and investment is like sailing a boat with more than 2 boats. Agents do not like to provide pure term insurance policy, because they offered less commission. by the way, back to the main topic: in my opinion LIC Amulya Jeevan is the best suitable policy for you. although a little bit costly than any other organization. but i prefer this.

A term insurance is a life insurance plan which provides coverage at a fixed rate of payments for a limited period of time. There are good companies like Future Generali that provide term plans for individuals and families where in you can take up additional riders like

1) Term Assurance
2) Accidental Death Rider
3) Accidental Total & Permanent Disability
4) Waiver of Premium on Disability
5) Critical Illness (Core)
6) Life Guardian.

Term insurance riders are always good to have as it expands the benefits along with your basic plan, you can get yourself insured for accident or illness cases. The amount you pay for these is small when you consider that you would otherwise have had to buy a completely new cover and pay a lot more. Have a look at the website for more details
