Actually learning TA is the first step in this business at least with my limited experience.

The next step is promotion of an analyst to the level of a good trader.

I find interesting to here that you want to become a Technical Analyst after being a Day/Positional trader.

Please share us why you want to become a Technical analyst ?
and how did you manage to trade with out knowing TA.

Best way to learn TA is to read, read and read some more. There are plenty of downloadable PDF files in the internet on this subject. Just google it.

Actually speaking i watch a particular stock for many days and would try play with its support and resistance level. sometimes it works and sometimes not. If you are Techincal analyst you would surely play off with many more stocks with some high degree of conviction... I also trade based on some tips. I would love to learn it and trade going forward. Help me guys with all the information you have
