Hello to everybody. And a query on ITC included
Hello All,
I am Chinnadurai,Mumbai.. Currently working in Jamaica-West Indies as a java/j2ee developer. This is my first post in this forum, I found this forum very helpful. I am new to Stock market. I trade using ICICIWeb Trade Account. I have a query on ITC. Please excuse me, if this query sound stupid. Query is about stock split and bonus. 1 share of ITC had become 15. This had triggered the prices of ITC from Rs1900 to Rs130. Is this split and bonus issued on NSE alone? I looked at the year high/low price for ITC on Moneypore.com for both NSE and BSE. year high price on BSE has never exceeded Rs.140. Hence wondering. This raises another question : If a company ABC has a total equity capital of 100Cr and listed on 2 stock exchanges(NSE & BSE). If the company decides to dispose 10Cr profit as dividend. Does ABC company gives 5Cr profit to NSE share holders and 5Cr BSE share holders? Do reply me back. thanks again for this great site. Chinnadurai
