Hi My name is Bijoy Deb...

I have Jeevan Anand Policy for 16 Years of Rs 10,00,000. Premium quarterly paid is 16681.

Sum assured per thousand is RS 25.

I m confused how much amount i will get after 16 years....

Kindly help me in sorting out my confusion...

Anywhere between 5-6 lakhs as per my estimate and the policy will continue after maturity as well.

I just want to know 5-6 lakh is my profits or what.. excluding 10,00,000 lakh

so in total i will 15-16 lakh

Oh my misjudgement, I calculated for annual premium of 16681. Your amount should be around 19 L and the you will still continue to receive the benefits after maturity. This is just a rough idea pls note.

Do not expect insurance plans to give you good returns. One term-plan is good. The one you are holding is good for the same purpose. For better returns, you may diversify your portfolio. Try investing in mutual funds like HDFC top 200, Reliance Growth Plan, etc. Government schemes like PPF, MIS, also can be considered.
