success rate of intraday traders
i have been into trading stocks in cash market since 2004 . Till 2008 i was into
short term trading ( 3 - 4 weeks ) . I have good knowledge about most of the
technical indicators / chart patterns based on which i traded stocks with about 70 % accuracy and consistent profit till 2008 . in 2008 i started indulging in stock futures on intraday basis since i thought i had very good knowledge on technical analysis . in next 2 years i lost all the wealth accumlated in past 4 years and much more . in sep 2009 i stopped intraday trading completly & am back to short term trading and have started making good money again . my question to all senior & experienced traders is daytrading profitable on consistent basis . the technical tools & indicators that work on eod charts do not work on intraday charts ? secondly is commodity futures trading more profitable than stock futures . i have seen ads which claim to make around rs 2500 - 3000 per day trading intraday commodity futures .
